Speak at The Lab Result

For people working in medicine, science, engineering and technology who can explain their work to Year 12 and 13 students in twenty minutes.

The brief_
01_

Your own work

What you actually do, one real problem you have worked on, and how you got there. The Personal Statement speaker covers how students write about it.

02_

Told as a story

Students are 16 to 18 and attention is short, so we look for clear, vivid speakers, not only experts. Start with a question or a surprise, build one idea, no slide walls. Assume A-level and nothing more. We rehearse it with you beforehand.

03_

Twenty minutes

Then five minutes of questions from the audience. Terms, including the fee and travel expenses, are agreed in writing beforehand.
